It is not always possible to pay respects in person, so we hope that this small token will help.
Offer a gift of comfort and beauty to a family suffering from loss.
A gift to your family, sparing them hard decisions at an emotional time.
|Cynthia Foss, Cemetery Administrator|
Cynthia joined the staff in March 1997, and has played piano for funeral services when needed. Because she has suffered loss in her life, she enjoys being able to help those during their time of need.
Cynthia was born in Seattle and lived in Idaho before moving to the Portland area in 1994 to raise her family. She graduated from Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario. She specialized in word processing and desktop publishing. Her work study was in the music department, where she served as librarian and assisted with organizing department activities. She was a member of the Chamber Chorus, the Treasure Valley Community College Choir, and the Treasure Valley Community Choir.
With piano lessons from age 5 to 15, she was also trained to be an accompanist and played during church at 12 years old. She also volunteered her piano skills for many of the school programs her children were in, and for her friends' weddings.
She is the proud mother of five. She has one set of twin daughters, one of whom had their own set of twins, which brings Cynthia's grandchildren total to 11. She also is blessed with plenty of “adopted” kids that call her mom, too. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, bike riding, and cooking for family, especially her cinnamon rolls.
