Since beginning her funeral career in 2001, Mindy has enjoyed creating personalized events that honor a life well-lived while also guiding families through the process of grieving. She is well-versed in military funerals, and has served as an advocate for many homeless veterans to help those without family or means receive dignified funeral services.
An Oregon native, Mindy was born in Dallas, raised in Rickreall, and is a graduate of Dallas High School and Mt. Hood Community College. The active resident of Sandy is a member of VFW Post #180 Ladies Auxiliary and the United States Field Artillery Association. She has also volunteered with the National Guard and was honored as the 2013 Oregon National Guard Military Spouse of the Year and received the Field Artillery Molly Pitcher Award.
Mindy has also volunteered with the Portland VA Medical Center, Cub Scouts, and with various area non-profits. She also transforms into “Skittles the Elf” during the holidays and works to organize and coordinate holiday assistance for struggling military families.
When not working or volunteering, Mindy enjoys camping, boating, crafting, making pallet art, and spending time with her husband, two stepsons and four dogs.
