Lifelong Hillsboro resident Mr. Adam Carl Woodall, 48, passed away tragically by homicide on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in Forest Grove, Oregon.
Adam was born July 27, 1974, to Marlo Floyd Woodall and Tamera Marie Huff in Hillsboro, Oregon. His father, Marlo, was in the US armed forces and passed away while serving our country in Japan. Adam completed some high school and resided in different locations over the years such as Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Washington county and short bouts in Texas and Alaska. He aspired to be an EMT when he was younger. Adam worked as a laborer pouring concrete, framing, and remodeling. He was currently employed as Groundskeeper at Fir Lawn Memorial Park at the time of his passing which he took pride in and was very dedicated to. Adam enjoyed welding, wood burning art, fishing, camping, hiking, family time and having a good time in general.
The family wrote, “Everyone that knew Adam spoke highly of his kind and loving heart. He would often go out of his way to help others. Adam would do things like show up at your house and make a lobster dinner just because, build a bike from scratch to see his kid smile, carry groceries inside for an elderly parent, walk all the way to your house to deliver a birthday gift, write a nice note to cheer someone up that was having a hard day or spend time with a loved one to make sure everything was okay. Adam had a mischievous side too. He would often pull silly pranks on his friends and loved ones. Anything to get a smile. He truly had a heart of gold and will be remembered dearly for that. Adam was a beloved son, father, husband, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was taken too soon and will be missed by many.”
