Allen Lewis Lambert passed away June 10, 2015 after a year long battle with lung cancer. He was born April 1934 in Guide Rock, Nebraska to Fred and Mary Lambert. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Sylvia, his sister Virginia, his brother Lawrence (with wife Marilyn), his daughter Deborah Langue (with husband Brian Langue), grandson Thomas Langue, and his son Michael. Allen moved to Idaho with his parents in 1937, then to Oregon in 1941. He attended Reedville Grade School and graduated from Hillsboro Union High School in 1952. He worked at Oscar Granum's Reedville Service station during High School and after Air Force service 1953-57 in Japan and Florida. Shortly after the Air Force, he worked for Harvey Marine. He began working for Montgomery Elevator Company in 1959, retiring in 1991. He was an Oregon state elevator inspector until 1998. He was notable for being a skilled auto mechanic, an aircraft enthusiast, and an engine collector.
