Services have been held. Arline Marie Sanders was born Oct. 8, 1936, in Coquille, to Dall Orlan and Sarah Emily (Gibbs) Sanders. She graduated from Brookings High School in 1953.
She married Donald Francis Hillecke in June 1956.
She worked at Payless Drug Store for 23 Years.
She enjoyed sewing, crafting, miniature doll house building, gardening, traveling, reading and crossword puzzles.
She belonged to St. Matthew Catholic Church, the Dairy Wives of Oregon and the Washington County Citizen Academy. She was 4-H leader, and a Washington County Fair Booster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hillecke.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Byche, Michael Hillecke, Elaine Flynn and Peggy Anne Hillecke; siblings, Sandra Sussee, Alvin Sanders, Linda Parks and Luann Keolker; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Remembrances: K_9 Corps of the Washington County Sheriff's Office; or a contribution for training equipment and body armor for the troops in Iraq or Afghanistan.
