Barbara Ann Waldow

Barbara Ann Waldow age 82 of Hillsboro died at home July 24, 2011 Born Jan. 31, 1929 in Bend, Oregon to T. W. & Dorothy (Brasel) Vandevert She spent her early life in Central Oregon graduating from Redmond High School. Attended the University of California at Berkeley. Barbara worked as an auditor at Tektronix from 1965 until 1988. Hillsboro resident since 1973. Married Ernest Waldow Feb. 14, 1973 in Clark Co., WA. He preceded her in 1991. She was a member of the Eagles in Bend, Beaverton and Hillsboro. She had volunteered at Tuality Hospital for 20 years and was an active volunteer for the VFW and American Legion. Her favorite pastimes were sewing and spending time with friends.
Survivors; daughters Bobi Earp, Karen Jobman 4 grandchildren 3 great grandsons.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Sat. 7-30-11. Donelson-Fir Lawn Memorial Center Chapel in Hillsboro.
Private Committal Willamette National Cemetery.
Contributions to American Cancer Society.
There will be a reception at 2:30 PM Sat. 7-30-11 at the recreation room at River Road Mobile Estates 2681 SE River Rd. in Hillsboro.
