VANCOUVER, Wash. - Bertha L. Benson, 103, died at home.
She was born in Orville, Calif., and spent her early life in Ft. Klamath and Central Point, Ore. She graduated from Central Point High School.
She married Rafael Benson in 1930 in Albany. She resided in Hillsboro from 1942 until moving to Vancouver three years ago. She was a member of Hazeldale Bible Church and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan Stephens, of Springfield, Corine Schultz, of Vancouver, Wash., and Nancy Ison, of Gresham; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m., Oct. 4, at Donelson-Fir Lawn Memorial Center Chapel, 1070 W. Main St., Hillsboro.
Interment will be at Fir Lawn Memorial Park in Hillsboro.
