Betty Lou Henifin age 79 of Forest Grove died in a Hillsboro hospital Dec. 20, 2010.
Betty was born Jan. 12, 1931 in Pitcher, Oklahoma to C. J. & May (Reeves) Mallett.
She graduated from high school in Pitcher, OK, and moved to Forest Grove in 1956 where she has resided since. Betty married Ray Henifin in Forest Grove in 1997. Betty was Southern Baptist by faith.
She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Masonic and Eastern Star Home in Forest Grove from 1970 - 1990. Central in her life was family and her grandchildren. Betty also loved to read.
Survivors are; husband Ray Henifin; son, Burt Batchelder, daughter; Pat Crawford, sisters; RaeAnn Springer, Patty Sue Derbyshire and 7 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Ramone Tetrick in 2005
