Betty Kittson, age 88, died August 7th of natural causes.
She was born in Telbasta, Nebraska on February 18, 1931 to Harry and Irene Hinrich. She was the youngest of 3 children.
Betty graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1949 and was quite proud of representing her school as a majorette. Throughout her life she was very active in the Association for Retarded Citizens and the American Legion.
At the young age of 18, Betty met her future husband, Loyal, at the Fourth of July grounds in Shute Park. They were married on February 3, 1950. Together they created a loving home and raised two children. Family was her biggest priority.
Betty is survived by her husband Loyal; children Daniel Kittson and Sherrie Coulter; grandchildren Michelle Mitchel, JJ Coulter and Joe Coulter; and seven great grandchildren.
