Betty E. Lazuck

Betty E. Lazuck, 80, died Dec. 9, 2010, in Longview, Wash.
A funeral service will be at noon, Dec. 18, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.
Betty E. Bothum was born Dec. 26, 1929, in Sibley, Iowa, to Rudolph and Selma (Floan) Bothum. The family moved to Cornelius in 1937.
She married Paul Lazuck on Nov. 19, 1950, in Cornelius. They lived in Hillsboro. She moved to Kalama two-and-a-half years ago.
She worked for Washington County Assessment and Taxation and belonged to Oregon Association of County Tax Collectors.
She was a charter member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Hillsboro and a longtime member of Women's International Bowling Congress.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting, clamming, gardening, oil painting and bowling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lazuck.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Madrigal; sisters, Sharon Thompson and Joan Bothum; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
