Billy "Joe" Sells

Billy "Joe" Sells, of Bartlett, a former resident of Hillsboro died on September 27, 2017. Born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma on February 14, 1930 son of the late William & Oma Sells. He retired as Command Sergeant Major from the Army Reserve after 43 years of service. Additionally, he is retired from the U.S. Civil Service. He was an avid wood worker and craftsman.

Joe was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Sells and five siblings. He is survived by his daughter Marisa (Peter) Lockwood; son Randy Sells; brother Jim Sells; nine grandchildren Wink, Jason, Justin, Brad, Ryan, Wesley, Emily, Kate and Rachel; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Any financial gifts in Joe's honor may be sent to the local charity of your choice.

Funeral services were held in Memphis, Tennessee. A graveside service with military honors will be on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Donelson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
