Bob E. Ray

March 18, 1936 — March 23, 2011

Bob was born in Peoria, AZ and grew up in Westport, OR. He retired after 30 years from Fisher Implement where he worked as a John Deere farm equipment salesman.
Bob is survived by his life-long partner Terry Ray, his daughter Kristie Buckley and his sons Rob Ray and Scott Ray. Grandchildren include Corinn and Loren Olson, Whitnie Ray, Cody, Casey and Avery Ray.
After suffering a debilitating stroke 16 years ago, Bob persevered. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching sports and traveling all over Hillsboro in his wheelchair with his signature orange flag. He was loved by all that knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Sonrise Church, 6701 N.E. Campus Way, Hillsboro. In remembrance of Bob Ray, contributions may be made to Sonrise Church.
