Charles E. Linden "Red" died April 19, 2015 at the age of 94. Charles was born September 13, 1920, in Volga, South Dakota to Betty and Charles Linden; he was the second of three children. Red lived in South Dakota until he entered the service in 1942.
After serving in World War II, in the South Pacific, Charles moved to the Pacific Northwest where he married Lorraine Exe in February of 1948. They settled in Hillsboro Oregon and had two children Peggy and Tom. Red worked as a finish carpenter and was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, he and Lorraine had 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine and his two sisters Francis and Gladys.
Services will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at Donelson Funeral Chapel at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his honor to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Association.
