Claireene Elaine Marshall (née Richardson), 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many went to be with her Lord and Savior on 14 November 2021. She was born on 11 June 1935 in Astoria, Oregon. She is reunited in glory with her parents, Claire Allen and Marjorie Elaine (née Watson) and infant brother, Claire Elwood.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne, whom she married in 1956. She is also survived by her children, Karen Elaine Marshall of Columbus, Ohio and Joyce Ann Phillips of Hillsboro, Oregon. She has two grandchildren, Jessica (Dane) Jensen and Jacob Marshall Mead, and three great-grandchildren Olivia, Sophia, and Soren Jensen.
Claireene graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1953 and went on to attend Oregon State University. She worked in the Hillsboro School District as a Title I Aid. In 30 years of teaching she impacted over 1,000 students lives at Peter Boscow and David Hill Elementary. Claireene was a woman who loved God, her family and friends, and her church. She was a life-time member of Hillsboro First Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. In her retirement years she enjoyed nothing more than watching and supporting her great-grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities.

Visitation will be held at Donelson Funeral Chapel on Monday, 29 November 2021 from Noon until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation starting at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Carpenter and Pastor Jerry Propst officiating. Internment will be at Fir Lawn Memorial Park.
