Clarence Edward Hughes passed away February 17, 2011, at home in Hillsboro, Oregon.
He was born August 25, 1926, in Atwood, Oklahoma, to Joseph and Cleo Hughes.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Private interment has been held at Fir Lawn Memorial Park in Hillsboro, Oregon.
"Clarency" moved to Oregon at a young age with his family. He was developmentally challenged from birth. He lived most of his life with immediate family. Most recently he lived at Evelyn's Adult Foster Care and he received the love and professional help and care that he needed. Clarency loved little kids and they loved him. He was always happy and laughing. He enjoyed putting together model cars and making picture collages of pretty women. He loved to spend time with family and with his nephew Gary every Wednesday.
Clarency is survived by one sister, Galetta Dickson of North Plains, OR and many nieces and nephews. He was loved very much and will be missed even more.
