C. Virginia Jones Rabern, passed away July 28, 2024 in Hood River, Oregon.
Virginia was born Oct. 18,1933 in Oklahoma to William and Claudia Jones. She was the oldest out of six children.
In 1948 The Jones family moved from Oklahoma to White Salmon, Washington, where she attended the Columbia High School. She then continued her education at Multnomah Bible College. After graduating, she became a secretary /bookkeeper.
In 1971 she married the love of her life Don Rabern. Also becoming stepmother to Cindy, Bradlee, Kell, Mark, and Cammi Rabern.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Don Rabern, her stepson Bradlee Rabern, grandson Landon Rabern, her father William, her mother Claudia, sister Lorene Forney, sister Voncille Armstrong, brother Cliff Jones, and sister Ellen Hansen.
She is survived by her stepchildren Mark, Kell, Cammi, Cindy, her sister Nancy Walker. (10) grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews Tina Nylin, Shane Jones, Karen Hayduk, Kevin Armstrong. Travis Nylin and Shyanne Nylin.
Service will be held Aug. 9th 2024, at Fir Law Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1070 West Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon 97123. Viewing will be from 11am-1pm , with a Graveside service from 1pm-2pm.
