Clifford "Kip" Croskrey, age 74, died after a long battle with Crohn's disease, on November 24, 2015, in Hillsboro, OR.
Kip is survived by his wife Helen "Haley" of Hillsboro: his sons Brett (Brenda) and Derek of Hillsboro and son Rob of Portland. He is also survived by his beloved sister Lora of Kalispell, MT. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wayne of GT. Falls, MT. and his brother Willard of Torrance, CA.
Kip was born in Kalispell, Mt. on February 25, 1941 to Arthur and LaVaughn Croskrey. He graduated from Flathead High and went to Montana State College on a football scholarship, he graduated from MSC in 1967 with a degree in Business Education. Kip took a job in Portland at Brown Development, later with Xerox, and finally as a Mortgage Loan Officer, a job he enjoyed until his retirement in 2009.
Kip was a great family man and a loving father. He married Helen Strobel in 1964 and they had 3 boys and in turn, he had 6 delightful grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda, Haley, Kelsey, Conner and Ava. He enjoyed his children, grandchildren and cars. His family and friends will always remember him as a character with a phenomenal laugh, and will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on December 4th at 11 am at Sonrise Church in Hillsboro. The family would like to thank all of his friends and family for their kind words and support.
