Clifford Milton Reese
October 26,1946-July 17, 2019
Cliff passed away surrounded by family, love and the laughter of his brothers and son while they reminisced. He grew up with six brothers and one sister, working on his grandparent’s farm fixing equipment in Oregon. He joined the national guard and spent his spare time working on cars. He married and had two boys with whom he shared the love of dirt bikes. He had a spit fire personality with a quick temper. He was loyal and often rescued his brothers from trouble. He was adventures in his youth with many scars to show for it. He had a hearty laugh and a generous spirit. Cliff loved flannel sheets, thick socks and his Carhart jacket. He did not care for being cold or politically correct. He enjoyed hard candy and cigarettes. He washed those down with coffee and tea by the gallon. He hated to waste things and saved the boxes and manuals from every appliance he ever owned. He loved to sit in the sun and share stories of the “good old days”. He liked to incite debates to keep the conversation going because he loved talking to people but wouldn’t admit it. He enjoyed making his weekly telephone call rounds to his family. He enjoyed tea parties and the trampoline with his grandkids, really anything that made them happy. He liked to pretend that his cat Lucy was a nuisance but really, he loved her enough to give her tuna fish daily. He loved his sons, brothers and grandchildren beyond measure. His hobbies included collecting tools he had no use for and some he did, procrastinating on taxes and printing financial articles to give to his family. He is preceded in death by one brother and his parents. He left behind his sons, Thomas and Joseph, 3 grandchildren, Alex, Mimi and Wes, 5 brothers, Dennis, Clayton, Calvin, Cyrus and Clark, 1 sister Charla, 2 Buicks, every receipt from the past 15 years and stories to last a lifetime for his family.
