Coralie Jane Parsons Rollins
November 25, 1933 - September 5, 2016
Coralie Jane Parsons Rollins passed away after battling liver cancer. Even fighting such a terrible disease she never lost her Faith in Jesus Christ or her family.
Coralie was born in Walla Walla, WA to Vernon & Eva Parsons. She had one brother, Larry and one sister Bonnie. While she was a young girl the family moved to the Portland area where she finished growing up. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1951 where she excelled in math and english. She also lettered in track and womens softball. After graduating she went to work at Meier & Frank in downtown Portland.
In 1952 she married and they moved to Prineville OR where she had 5 children. In 1965 the family moved to Scholls, OR after a fire destroyed the house in Prineville.
After moving to Scholls, she became very involved with the Scholls Community Church and the Scholls Little League Baseball. Unfortunate circumstances led her to divorce in 1968 and becoming a single parent of 5 children. In all the disarray, her Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ helped her deal with the situations that layed before her.
In 1972 she met her Loving husband Michael Rollins and they married in 1973.
Her passions were her children, grandchildren, camping, sewing, cooking, quilting and gardening. She also enjoyed the Oregon Coast and traveled there every chance she got.
