Daniel Monroe Hutchison

Longtime Hillsboro resident, Mr. Daniel M. Hutchison, 78, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Hillsboro Medical Center in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Daniel was born July 2, 1944 to Archibald M. & Agnes M. (Williamson) Hutchison in Forest Grove, OR. He graduated from high school and lived in Portland from 1966 to 1977 before moving to Aloha from 1977 to 1997 and then to his current home in Hillsboro in 1997. Daniel was employed at Gunderson Brothers, FMC and Gunderson, Inc (Greenbriar) from which he retired in 2014. He was an ordained Minister with the Lighthouse Mission Church. Daniel enjoyed hunting, woodworking, going to the beach, outdoorsman, Royal Rangers, friends and family gatherings.
"Daniel loved telling stories around a campfire and with friends and family. He was a loyal friend to many. Daniel was a man of faith that stood strong the word of God.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Don Hutchison. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ramona Hutchison of Hillsboro, OR; sons, Dan R. Hutchison of Sheridan, OR, David N. Hutchison of Cornelius, OR and Stephen D. Hutchison of Tigard, OR; daughter, DeAnna R. Bourdony of Kelso, WA; adopted daughter, Stephanie Conley of Merrill, IA; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Daniel's life will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Fir Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1070 West Main Street, Hillsboro, OR 97123.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests condolences be mailed to the Hutchison family, C/O Fir Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1070 West Main St. Hillsboro, OR 97123.
