Aloha and former North Plains resident, Mrs. Debbie Davis, 62, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Providence St. Vincent in Portland, OR.
Debbie was born September 24, 1960 to George Odell & Faye (Villarreal) Newman in Myrtle Point, Oregon. She graduated high school and had worked for Benchmark Electronics in Beaverton from 1989 until 2010. Debbie also worked at QPL in Hillsboro from 2012 until 2018. Most recently she worked for Vanguard EMS in Beaverton from 2018 until 2023. Debbie enjoyed listening to books, camping, taking care of her roses and watching the Oregon Ducks football team.
The family recalled memories of “playing in the front yard with her sisters doing the hula hoop. Taking turns riding the bike to check the mailbox. Playing on the tire swing in the backyard and riding “Dolly” our childhood Shetland pony.”
Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Jason Bryngelson. She is survived by her husband, Duane Davis of Aloha, OR; daughter, Chris Angeles of Aloha, OR; daughter in-law, Elia Angeles of Aloha, OR; grandchildren, Cruz & Dayana both of Aloha, OR; sister and brother in-law, Julie and Craig Nuse of Beaverton, OR; four nephews, James & Jeremy Good and Johnathan Newman all of Portland, OR and Rob Stampflee of Astoria, OR; one and only niece, Shawna Olson of Keizer, OR.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at Fir Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1070 West Main Street, Hillsboro, OR 97123.
