Dennis C. Lafferty age 94 of Beaverton died at home Mar. 3, 2011.
Born Dec. 15, 1916 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada.
Dennis worked as a machinist in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyards for 31 years retiring in 1971. He was aboard the USS Helena when it was bombed on Dec 7, 1941.
Dennis married Jean Biggs in July of 2007 in Hillsboro, OR.
He was a life member of The Beaverton Elks, and Member of The LDS Church.
Survivors are his wife Jean Lafferty of Beaverton, son; Melvin Lafferty of Louisville, KY, son; Leonard Lafferty of Vacaville, CA, and 5 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren numerous nieces & nephews.
Viewing at the funeral home from 10 AM until 11 AM Wed. 3-9-11.
A memorial Services will be held at 3 PM Wed. 3-9-11 at Quatama Chapel - LDS Church, 848 SW 206 th Ave., Aloha, OR 97006.
Private Committal at Valley Memorial Park in Hillsboro.
