Dianne Juanita Howard

October 9, 1937 — December 23, 2019

Dianne Juanita Arneson was born October 9, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a child, she later moved with her family to Seattle, Washington. There she grew up and graduated from Garfield High School. She was a friendly and outgoing person who made many friends. The family later relocated to Kentucky where Dianne worked as a waitress. It was there she would meet the love of her life, Elmer Glen Howard.
She married Elmer on January 26, 1960 in Missoula, Montana. They made their home in Seattle where Elmer was stationed in the U.S. Navy. Dianne and Elmer welcomed a daughter Beverly in January of 1962. Later they welcomed two sons. Mark was born in February 1967, and Matthew in December of 1969.
After her marriage, Dianne did not work outside the home. Her focus was on her home and her family. She accepted Jesus as her savior, and attended a number of churches where she loved to sing and enjoyed the fellowship of others.
The family later relocated to Hillsboro, Oregon. After her children were raised, she decided to take a part time job, as well as volunteer for a local resale shop. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her three grandsons.
Music and singing was very important to Dianne. She felt God had given her this talent to share and minister to others. Dianne attended Cornerstone Church of Portland where she enjoyed the fellowship. She especially loved to travel to Seattle to attend meetings with their affiliate church there, since she knew many people from the Seattle church. Later as it became more difficult for her to travel, she attended church at Calvary Chapel in Hillsboro.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer, as well as her parents and a sister. She is survived by her three children: Beverly Puncochar and her husband Russell Puncochar, Mark Howard, and Matthew Howard all of Hillsboro. Also her three grandsons and their spouses: Joshua and Kendall Puncochar of Forest Grove, OR, Andrew and Yvonne Puncochar of Lafayette, OR, and Joseph and Sara Puncochar of Banks, OR. As well as a great-grandson and great-granddaughter.
