Edna Younce

Edna was born in Brigham City, Utah,on November 14, 1918 to Jedediah Morgan and Elvira (Petersen) Hess. She passed away on December 19, 2011. She married Ralph Ray Younce in 1938, in Chicago. She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked in the Washington County Sheriff's Department and enjoyed sewing, reading and embroidery. She was preceded in death by a sibling, Myrtle Hess Bosley; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She is survived by her children, Patty Rae (Roy) Ottley, Geary Younce (Carol Cummings), and Douglas Younce (Catherine Cottrell); 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Dec. 27, at Fir Lawn Memorial Park, 1070 W. Main St., Hillsboro. Viewing: 12:30 p.m., Dec. 27, in our chapel.
