Edward "Ed" P. Mullins was born in Chicago, IL on June 23, 1926 to Michael J. Mullins, Sr. and Mary T. Mullins. He attended St. Joseph's Academy in Indiana and St. Leo's Catholic High School in Chicago, graduating one year early in June 1943. He served in the US Marine Corp from 1943-1945 during WWII and was very proud of his service to his country in the South Pacific. He joined Pacific Telephone & Telegraph in 1946 as a coin collector and had a long, successful 35 year career, retiring in 1981 as a mid-manager. He met Nadine Hendrickson in Los Angeles, CA and they were married on June 20, 1948. They were married 55 years before her death in 2004. In 1994, Ed and Nadine moved from San Gabriel Village, CA, where they had lived for over 30 years, to Hillsboro, Oregon to be near their grandchildren, Mary & Kaitlin, who were the apple of his eye.
Ed is survived by his two sons, Tim and Mike; their spouses, Samantha and Terry; his two granddaughters, Mary and Kaitlin (who loved their Papa very much); and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed.
