Elizabeth "Betty" Davis

Elizabeth (Betty) Davis passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Tuality Hospital from advanced dementia at the age of 92. Betty was the daughter of Lenna and William Henry of Clear Lake, Iowa. She had one older sister Mary of Elk Mound, WI who predeceased her in 2013. At an early age her family moved to Clear Lake, Iowa where she grew up and met her future husband Roger. She married Roger Davis April 27, 1943 in Kansas City; MO. Roger predeceased Betty in 1984. Betty worked at many different jobs during her life. She worked for State Farm Insurance, Parson Prunes, Oregon Roses, Oregon Primate Center, and the Eastern Star Home in Forest Grove. She was a terrific mother to both Jim and Tom her only two children. Betty will be remembered for her love of flowers, getting a bargain at local garage sales, and her love of animals, especially dogs. She is survived by her two sons Jim (Joanne) and Tom, one grandson Ryan (Ali), and three great-grandchildren; Jackson, Rhett, and Evelyn. Betty requested no service. Donations to the Bonnie L. Hays animal shelter in Hillsboro would be appreciated.
