Ethel Elizabeth Bos

August 27, 1938 — April 9, 2021

Ethel Bos, 82, passed away in her Hillsboro residence on April 9th of unknown causes.
She was born in Fresno, California to Frank and Jessie Conley, the eighth of eleven children. Shortly after high school she met and married the love of her life, Stan, on September 14th, 1956 and together they raised their 4 children. She was a loving wife, mother, and was adored by her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Everyone knew Ethel as a
loving, helpful and giving person.

Ethel and Stan moved their family to Hillsboro, Oregon in 1972. Ethel worked for many years at Rodgers Organ Company in Hillsboro and made many lifelong friends there. Ethel was a people person who loved helping others and welcomed several teens in her home to live with her until they were ready to be on their own or until they decided to return home.

Ethel loved spending time with her grandchildren and started caring for them shortly after retired. She always planned special outings for them during the summer months. All of her grandchildren have fond memories of special times spent with Grandma.

Survivors include her children Vicki (Chris) Dodge of Beaverton, Stanley (Janice) Bos of Gaston, Pamela (Bill) Edgerton of Aloha and Sharon (Jim) Pereda of Aloha; and 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held May 1 2021, 11am at the Harvest Community Church, 8215 NE Quatama St. Hillsboro, Oregon 97006.
