Longtime Hillsboro, Oregon resident, Mr. Everett Leroy Zyskowski, 65, passed away from liver cancer at his home on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Everett was born August 1, 1958, to John Stanley & Charlotte Jean (Sanders) Zyskowski in Escondido, California. He graduated from High School and had joined the US Army. Everett had moved to Oregon in May of 1990 and had worked at Kitchens & More Northwest in Hillsboro, OR. He enjoyed anything outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing, guitar playing and exercising every day.
“Everett was many things to many people. He made his family feel loved and safe throughout his life. He was always available whenever family or friends needed his help. Everett loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was very proud he was able to teach them a love for the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and enjoyed the time doing these activities with them. Everett loved the work he did and counted those of you he came to know as more than just friends. We want to thank all of you for taking the time out of your busy life to spend time with him at the end. You all showed how much he was loved and cared for and he had that knowledge to take with him,” wrote the family.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Zyskowski of Hillsboro, OR; son, Darrell Timberlake of Decatur, IL; daughter, Christina Flores of Cornelius, OR; granddaughters, Emily and Jasmin Flores both of Cornelius, OR and Angie Radtke of Salem, OR; brothers, Robert Zyskowski of Napa, ID and Norman Zyskowski of Renton, WA; sister, Barbara Zyskowski of Waitsburg, WA; plus numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Kansas and Missouri.
