Harold Ray Hendrickson

Harold Ray Hendrickson, son of Harry and Ruth Hendrickson was born July 24, 1944 in Hillsboro, OR. He graduated from Forest Grove High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. He was a reserve in the Army National Guard.  He worked at Tektronics as a manager for 25 years and retired in 1991.
He Married Alice (Henry) Hendrickson on October 8, 1965 in Carlton, OR. This union was blessed with 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Harold was a great man, had a heart of gold and a very infectious smile that could light up any room.  He was a generous soul, always willing to help others.  He adored spending time with his family and friends.  He fished and hunted often, and regularly attended sporting events rooting on his kids and grandkids.  It was rare he would miss a game.  Harold was an active member of the Beaverton Elks Club where he enjoyed playing poker with many friends. He quietly departed this life Monday, February 17, 2020 at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital.  He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Ruth Hendrickson and his granddaughter Kayla Hendrickson.
Harold is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice Hendrickson, his 3 children Harold (Jr.) Hendrickson, Brenda Vanderkin and Brian Hendrickson all of Forest Grove, OR; grandchildren Matt Vanderkin of Tigard, OR, Kyle Vanderkin, Alex Vanderkin, Dustin Hendrickson, Breanna Hendrickson, Brittany Hendrickson all of Forest Grove, OR, and Amanda Likes of Hillsboro, OR; great grandchildren Luke Vanderkin, and Hattie Vanderkin of Tigard OR.
