Harold Wesley Warren, age 76, late of Forest Grove, OR, passed away May 18, 2013, at a local hospital. He was born August 31, 1936, in Blackburn, OK, to Vern W. and R. Adaline (Landsaw) Warren. He attended elementary school and spent his childhood years in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Washington.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Forest Grove, where he was a member. There will be a public viewing for Harold from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, May 31, 2013, at Donelson-Fir Lawn Memorial Center, 1070 W. Main St., Hillsboro, OR 97123.
At about the age of 13 his family moved to Westport, OR. He attended Jr. High there. He earned his G.E.D. in 1987. He served in the US Army during Korea. He was a member of the NRA and the National Assn. of Gun Rights. He worked as a plumber in construction and also worked for Pacific University. He loved to fish with his uncle George, his kids, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, woodworking, camping, playing guitar, and watching westerns on T.V. When his health permitted he also delivered Meals on Wheels.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents; his son Danny; half brother Melton Landsaw; and 3 brothers, Lawrence, Clifford and Donnie Warren.
Harold is survived by his wife, Roxane Warren of Forest Grove, OR; 2 sons, Jeffrey Warren of Hillsboro, OR, and Curtis (Terry) Warren of Forest Grove, OR; daughter Terri Worthington of Lebanon, OR; step-son Rob Fowler of Banks, OR; step-daughter Rae (Tim) Weaver of Banks, OR; 5 brothers, Butch (Paula) Warren of Bainville, MT, Lonnie (Cheryle) Warren of Westport, OR, John Warren of Westport, OR, David (Nikki) Warren of Fairview, MT, and Scott (Sherri) Warren of Westport, OR; 5 sisters, Norma Johns of Clatskanie, OR, Martha (Larry) Hall of Knappa, OR, Helen Lindberg of Clatskanie, OR, Susan (Dave) Yokel of Longview, WA, and Janet (Ron) Merly of Longview, WA; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
