John Edward Hamilton was born June 14, 1951 in Foley Alabama, to parents Nelson Kelley Hamilton and Gayle (Rowland) Hamilton.
He died Nov 25 2020 in Washington County Oregon.
He was one of 5 brothers. The oldest, James Kelley Hamilton died in young childhood in 1942. Brother Franklin D Hamilton, USMC, lived in Pensacola Florida until his passing in January,2021; Brother Michael K Hamilton, USN, lived his later years in Oregon, and passed away in 2010 in Astoria. Brother David A Hamilton lives in Houston, Tx.
John grew up on Laurel Avenue in Foley, Al and attended Foley Schools, He graduated in 1969. He then enlisted in the USAF.
He married Cynthia Schwandt in 1973 in Pensacola FL.
John worked for a while at Rosie O'Grady’s entertainment venue in Pensacola, where his dad, Nelson, was a singing star for many years.
John and Cynthia settled in Aloha Oregon. They eventually divorced and she died a number of years ago. They had no children.
John is buried at Willamette National Cemetery, in Portland OR
His living kin are saddened from his passing.
