James D. Rapp, 50 died Aug. 18, 2010, and was found on Sept, 11 in Beaverton area. having died from natural causes.
A celebration of life will be at 1:30 p.m. today, Sept 17, at Donelson Fir Lawn Memorial Center.
James Donald Rapp was born Sept. 19, 1959, in Baker, to Robert "Bob" and Ruth Eve Novick Rapp. He was raised and educated in HIllsboro. He joined the U.S. Army, serving for a short time He then worked in the construction industry with ceramic tile and remodeling.
He married Susan Wright in 1989 and they later divorced. They had two children.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping with his children and time with his dogs, Isabella and Baby. His most recent achievement was the starting of Suzies Produce Station in Banks. He struggled with illness and always wanted to help others.
He is survived by his son, Justin Wright; a daughter, Ashley Wright; father, Bob Rapp Jr.; and sisters Theresa Becktold and Susan Rapp.
