James Harry Skelton age 86 of Beaverton died in a Portland hospital July 18.
Born Sept. 15, 1924 in Meadville, PA. Served in Alaska in the Navy during WWII. Married Joyce E. Jones of Cornelius on May 12, 1945 in Vancouver, WA. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. James was a barber in Beaverton for 30 years retiring in the early 90's.
James is survived by wife Joyce, son James A. "Tony" Skelton, daughter Paula Balzier, 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Services will be private
