John Fredrick Crockett

John Crockett, known as "Bus" to his family, was born Nov. 12, 1919, in Rock Creek, Idaho. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Durfee Crockett.
John passed away Jan. 29, 2016, in Hillsboro where he had lived since 1954. He is survived by his children, Linda Wilson, Steven Crockett, Karen Farhat and Janet Frese; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was a beloved father, grandfather, friend to everyone who knew him and active member of the Mormon church. Dec. 3, 2013 was dedicated as the "John Crockett" day in the city of Hillsboro in gratitude of his 40 years of volunteering.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb 6, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 282 N.E. 32nd Ave., Hillsboro.
