Kimberly Mandell Sanderson, 60, went to be with her heavenly Father on September 30, 2016 following a brief illness. She was born in Santa Monica, California on September 29, 1956 to Harold and Helen Puckett. She spent her early years in California, moving to Montana with her family in 1983. There she married Jim Sanderson on July 25, 1993 in Red Lodge, Montana. Together they lived in Miles City and Billings, Montana, Phoenix, Arizona, and Hillsboro, Oregon where they lived for the past 11 years. Kim was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Helen Puckett, and sister-in-law Robin Puckett. She is survived by her husband Jim Sanderson, brother Gary Puckett of Billings, MT, nephew David Puckett and his family of Billings, MT, mother-in-law Doris Winslow of Miles City, MT, brother-in-law Bill Sanderson (Cheryl) of Lakeside, MT, sister-in-law Susan Sanderson of Miles City, MT, and sister-in-law Nancy Iversen (Doug) of Billings, MT. Kim's occupations included dental hygiene, real estate, and customer service for wholesale grocery. Kim was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and friend; a woman of strong character, grace, and courage. She enjoyed camping, the great outdoors, and had a love for all animals. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the care providers from the Oregon Department of Health and Human Services, Providence Healthcare, and the Tuality Community Hospital for their loving care. . A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Christian Center in Hillsboro, Oregon, on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 9:00 am. A private graveside burial will be held at the Fir Lawn Memorial Park following the service. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter or a charity of choice.
