Lois Leith Gibson, 82, passed away Aug. 10, 2011.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Aug. 17, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Golden Road Chapel, 5580 SE Golden Road. Hillsboro, OR.
She was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Grants Pass, to Robert and Olevia (Purinton) Owen. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1946.
She married Grant M. Gibson in 1948. She was a music coordinator at Oak Villa and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and at her church.
She is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Angel Roberts and Hannah Bell.
She is survived by her husband; ten children; 33 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
