Lorna Mae Rauh

Lorna Mae Rauh (nee Coxhead) was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 21, 1933, and died in Hillsboro, Oregon, May 28, 2024.
After graduating from high school, she married Peter Rauh Jr., whose job kept them on the move, experiencing life in Canada (Calgary, Montreal) and the United States (Castro Valley & Anaheim, California, Houston, Texas). Hillsboro became the Rauh's final move and home.
As mother of 3 children, Gary, Laurie, and Brian, she was kept busy as a Homemaker, a pharmacy tech, & a Tektronix employee. For many years, Lorna owned and ran a craft & hobby shop in Anaheim, California.
She was a master at knitting, sewing, and many craft arts. Church played another important role in her life, and she was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. Lorna spent many years volunteering at the Hillsboro Senior Center, where was able to share her skills with others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Rauh Jr., in 2009. Lorna is survived by sons Gary (Kristin) & Brian, and daughter Laurie; grandchildren Justin and Adam Rauh, Cameron and
Whitney Blacklock; great-grandchildren Malia and Jameson Rauh, Olivia Nilsen Soderquist, Thaden Blacklock, Chase Mello, Bella Osbourne, and Peyton Cleflin.

Fir Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Hillsboro is Lorna's final resting place. Memorial donations may be made to Serenity Hospice in Tigard, Oregon.
