Louise Bertha Eller was born in Rost Township, Minnesota, April 20, 1912. She was the 10th of 12 children born to Reinhold and Whilhelmina Becker. She enjoyed her young life living in rural Minnesota. She worked as a nanny, taught in a one room school before marrying Sig Eller in 1934.
They moved the family to Portland, OR where she, as a stay at home Mom, raised their three children - Roberta Taylor (deceased), Jim (Anita) Eller, Barbara (David) Van Winkle. She has 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, painting, volunteering, singing, travelling, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Forest Grove, OR. .She passed away peacefully at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Forest Grove, Friday Oct. 14th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers or as a remembrance consider a donation to Bethesda Lutheran Community Services. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sig, daughter, Roberta and all her brothers and sisters. Loving mother, faithful child of God and will be greatly missed by many.
