Luella Mae Steiner

Forest Grove resident, Luella Mae Steiner, 93, passed away, Sunday October 30, 2022 at the Hillsboro Medical Center in Hillsboro.
Luella was born September 18, 1929 to James William & Nettie (Cooper) Barton in LaMoure, North Dakota. She attended high school and had moved to Ontario, OR where she lived from 1957 to 1958 before moving to Hillsboro, OR in 1959 and eventually to Forest Grove in 2010. Luella was employed at Tektronix. She was a member of the St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Hillsboro, OR. Luella enjoyed playing cards.
Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Val Steiner in 1984; daughter, Bernadette Terry in 2015; and son, Terry Steiner in 2015.
She is survived by her son, Tim Steiner of Forest Grove, OR; daughter, Valerie Cannard of Holden, WA; son, Rick Steiner of Salem, OR; and daughter, Vicki Davis of Cornelius, OR. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
A rosary prayer service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 475 SE Third Ave. Hillsboro, OR 97123. A reception will immediately follow the rosary. Luella will be laid to rest with her husband, Valentine at the Valley Memorial Park.
