Luke Lozis

January 21, 1997 — June 29, 2022

Luke Thomas Lozis was born January 21, 1997 in Lewiston, ME to Kristine Wilson and James Lozis. He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 25 on June 29, 2022 at his home in Hillsboro, OR.

He received an associate’s degree from Southern Maine Community College and worked for Station Class Constructors in Maine and North American Millwright Services in Maryland. Luke eventually moved to Oregon in March of 2020 and began a career at Intel that April.

Luke had several passions in life, one of them being music. He enjoyed attending festivals, especially EDM festivals. He loved being at the ocean, driving his car and was known for taking the long way while singing with the music playing. He had an interest in video games, as well, but his love for his family and friends was what mattered most to him. Spending time with loved ones and friends who were family to him was one of his favorite things to do, along with spending time with his coolest kitty, Buddy Kat.

With a genuine smile, Luke was well known for being intelligent, as well as bright and shining. He was very caring and always focused on the positive side of things, always having a compliment to brighten another’s day. A social butterfly who loved making new friends, Luke lived his best life and enjoyed every day.

Luke is preceded in death by his Grandmother Bette Wilson, Grandfather and Grandmother Thomas and Angela Wilson, Grandfather and Grandmother Bernard and Lucretia Lozis, and Uncles Richard Wilson and Gregory Wilson.

Luke is survived by his Father James Lozis (Turner, ME), his Mother Kristine Wilson (Auburn, ME), his Brother and Sister-in-Law Adam and Jamie Lozis (Portland, OR), Sister Allie Cullen (VA), Uncle Scott Lozis (Auburn, ME), Aunt Linda Lozis (Venice, FL), Uncle and Aunt Thomas and Patricia Wilson (Cheyenne, WY), Aunt Angela Quimby (Limerick, ME), Uncle and Aunt Peter and Denise Wilson (Westbrook, ME), as well as six cousins, extended family and many friends.

A private family service will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn, ME.
