Marley "Ben" Marvel, Jr.

Marley Ben Marvel Jr, 73 of Beaverton Oregon died on October 10th, after dealing with long-term health issues. Ben was born in Los Angeles California on March 30th 1947 to Marley and Lorene Marvel.  He was the third of three children.  He was a resident of LaVerne California until moving to Hillsboro Oregon in 1960 as a teenager.  Ben was drafted into the U.S. Army after high school and saw combat during the Vietnam War.  After Vietnam been spent most of his career as a house and commercial painter until retirement. Ben loved playing baseball as a child, and as an adult liked to golf, often golfing with his father.  Ben is survived by his older sisters Anita and Tressie, as well as by his two children Alan and Angela.
