Martha M. Rollins

January 25, 1917 — October 14, 2015

Martha Noack Rollins died on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the age
of 98.

Martha was born on January 25, 1917, to Edwin and Ella Noack in
Crawfordsville, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her four siblings;
Gertrude, Ester, Luella and Arnold.

Martha married Ted Rollins on June 22, 1941. Together they raised
three children, Darlene Brinkly, Michael Rollins and Christine La Noue.
Martha lived happily on the same street in Hillsboro for 65 years where
she lovingly tended her family and gardens. She was blessed with a
"Green Thumb" and was a wonderful cook. Everyone who knew Martha
loved her fresh fruit pies.

She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years in 1987 and her
daughter, Darlene Brinkly in 2012. Martha is survived by her son,
Michael, daughter-in-law Coralie and their children, John, Kerry, Daniel,
Marci and Leta. She also leaves a daughter, Christine, son-in-law Mark
and their daughter, Bree. Martha's daughter, Darlene, had two children,
Julie Brinkly and Richard, who is married to Tori. Richard and Tori have
two children Dorian and Christopher.

Martha retained her mental acuity and dry sense of humor until her
final days. Her strong faith endured her entire life, sustained by her
membership in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. This indomitable
woman will be deeply missed.

As Martha requested, a memorial service will be held at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, and the family requests that
remembrances be made to the New Sanctuary/Building Fund at Trinity
Lutheran Church, 2194 SE Minter Bridge Road, Hillsboro, OR 97123.
