Mary Jane Loar

Mary Loar went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2011. Mary is survived by her three children, Connie (Michael) Volk of Tigard, OR, Howard (Ricki) Loar of Palatine IL, and Sharon (Mark) Jose of Hillsboro, OR. She also leaves 2 Grandchildren and a Great Grandchild. Mary was born in Ross Wyoming and was the 2nd oldest of 10 children. Growing up she worked on the family farm. Mary raised her family in Tigard, Oregon and enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mary then went to work as a cook in nursing homes when her kids where older. Mary lived with flowers and music around her, and enjoyed reading anything she could get her hands on.
Mary's family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Funeral services will be held on August 24th at 11:00 am at Donelson Fir Lawn Memorial Center located at 1070 W Main, Hillsboro, OR. A viewing will precede the services stating at 9:00am.
