Michael Brandon Macdonald

Lifelong Hillsboro resident, Mr. Michael Branden MacDonald, 35, passed away unexpectedly, July 13, 2022, in Gresham, Oregon.

Michael was born June 24, 1987, to Douglas Gordon and Amy Ellen (Pliler) in Hillsboro, Oregon. He was a fast runner and loved the outdoors, walking, hiking, rollerblading. Michael enjoyed drawing, and reading, especially Stephen King and James Patterson novels. Michael also loved going on family night walks and was always super goofy when playing with his son Lukas. He loved to balance Lukas as a baby.

Michael is survived by his mother, Amy E. Knoedler of Forest Grove, OR; father, Douglas G. MacDonald of Hillsboro, OR; son, Lukas L. MacDonald of Hillsboro, OR; brothers, Eric A. and Justin D. MacDonald both of Hillsboro, OR, Christopher MacDonald of Portland, OR, Tyler Knoedler of Durham, OR and Seth Knoedler of Beaverton, OR; parent, Rick A. Knoedler of Forest Grove, OR; aunts, Gwen Pliler of Beaverton, OR, Sara Pliler of England, Karen Stiltner of Forest Grove, OR and Pam Whit of Longview, TX; uncles, Dale Pliler of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and Stuart MacDonald of Kent, WA; grandmother, Anna M. Suggs of Hillsboro, OR.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 282 NE 32nd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124.
