Minnie E. Vinson, 87, died Oct. 30, 2011, from complications due to Alzheimer's disease.
Minnie was born July 20, 1924, in Maryneal, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (John) Walton, of Hillsboro; granddaughter, Crystal Walton, of Hillsboro; and brothers, Forrest Strickland and Hester "Bud" Strickland, both of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Vinson; and daughter, Patricia Vinson.
Remembrances: Oregon Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 1650 NW Naito Parkway, Suite 190, Portland, OR 97209.
Graveside services have been held at Fir Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor Bill Zweigart, of Keizer, Ore., officiated.
