Nerine (tootie) Zoucha left us Thursday afternoon July 21st, 2011 to join our lord and her beloved husband Domie of 65 years.
Tootie was born in Ravenna, Nebraska, June 11, 1919, she was 92 years old. she was raised and educated in Ravenna.
She married Domie Zoucha, Jan. 3rd, 1938. She lived in California until moving to Hillsboro in 1943. They had celebrated 65 years of marriage in 2003. She worked for Kramien's Drug Store for years as a cosmetic sales person. She was a resident of Rosewood Retirement home for many years. She was an avid league bowler both at Four Seasons and Park Lanes until 2009 when she had to retire for health reasons. But she was always there to cheer her team memebers on. She and her friend Wilma were avid Blazer fans. They were part of the Rosewood Cheering section gang on game day. They had been recognized on TV a few times by Mike and Mike. She loved her Blazers.
Tootie is survived by her brother Jack (wife Leone) Hughes, 3 grandchildren, Roger, Debbie and Jackie, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband Domie, parents Ed Hughes, Hazel Hughes.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 28, 2011. at Fir Lawn Memorial Park in Hillsboro.
