Mrs. Norma Swift passed away December 21st at the Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Specialty Care Center. She was 85.
Norma Geraldine and her twin brother were born on Oct. 28, 1925. in Muncie, Indiana to Harry and Mary Dickerson.
In 1944, she married Robert W. Swift, a union lasting until his passing 46 years later. In 1971, they moved to Medford, Oregon and finally settled in the Hillsboro area in 1979.
She was a member of the Pentecostal church and thoroughly enjoyed socializing with friends and family at the Hillsboro Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, sons; Robert E. and Clifford.
She is survived by her sister, Juanita Gastelum of Hillsboro; son, Thomas (wife: Carol) of Pensacola, Fl; daughter-in-law Joyce Swift of Cornelius; 9 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
At her request, no services were held.
