Patricia Fullenwider

Patricia (Pat) Fullenwider (Mosley) passed away peacefully in the evening of November 7 at Maryville Nursing Home in Beaverton, Oregon. Pat was born on March 17, 1928 in Seattle Washington to Jessie Cox & William O. Thomson. She attended several different schools in Seattle until the 8th grade & then moved to Amherst Massachusetts where she graduated from Amherst High School in 1945. Pat attended Barnard College for a year before moving to The Dalles, Oregon where she married Stan Mosley on January 4, 1948. The family moved to Forest Grove, Oregon in 1950 where she worked at a bank & her husband attended college. They moved to Hillsboro, Oregon in 1956 where she worked in a local doctor's office for 10 years. Pat & Stan were married for 24 years. She went back to school to become a nurse graduating in 1983. She worked in several capacities at Providence St. Vincent Hospital & married John Fullenwider on September 12, 1987. They enjoyed 19 wonderful years together before his death in 2006. She retired on 1990 & remained in the area spending her remaining years traveling, dancing with the Eager Beavers Square Dance Club, volunteering at Providence St. Vincent Hospital, Orenco school, her church, & spending time with her family. Pat was predeceased by her sons Kevin & Darren Mosley & brother David Thomson. She is survived by son Shawn Mosley of Dallas Oregon & brothers Peter & John Thomson of Boston Massachusetts. A memorial service and reception to celebrate Pat's life will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 3:30 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church at 22785 NW Birch St., Hillsboro, OR 97124. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Pat Fullenwider can be made to Washington County Hospice Foundation, 900 SE Oak St #202, Hillsboro, OR 97123 and/or to the UUCCWC Ministerial Discretionary Fun.
