Paul was born Jan. 2, 1917 in Los Angeles, CA.
A Hillsboro/Forest Grove area resident since 1982. Paul was a grad. of UC Berkeley with a degree in engineering.
He had been a loan officer for Farmers & Merchants Bank in Long, Beach, CA prior to retiring and coming to this area in 1982.
Paul married Annette Joesting April 13, 1941 in Long Beach, CA. She preceded him in death in 2002.
Paul was a member of First Lutheran Church in Long Beach, CA and Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.
Paul enjoyed do it yourself projects.
Survivors are; son Norman Johannes Hillsboro, OR, daughter; Judith Eckersley Gaston, OR, son; Wayne Johannes Keno, OR, son; Timothy Johannes Sutherlin, OR, sister; Helen Francke Washington, DC. 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
Memorial Service Sun. Feb 13, 2011. at 2:00 p.m. at Tualatin Plains Presbyterian Church - The Old Scotch Church Hillsboro, OR
Private Interment at Old Scotch Church Cemetery.
