Peggy Linden, 70, of Hillsboro, Oregon passed away on Friday, March 20th, 2020 accompanied by her two children.
She was born in Hillsboro, Oregon in September of 1949 to Charles and Lorraine Linden. She was the eldest of two children.
Peggy grew up in Hillsboro and attended Hillsboro High School, graduating in 1967. Later, she graduated from Portland Community College and had a successful career working 31 years for Washington County in the Office of Community Development as a program manager, retiring in April 2011 .
Peggy raised two children, James and Laura. Both graduated from Glencoe High School and Oregon State University.
In retirement, Peggy enjoyed traveling and went on a handful of trips with friends and family to various parts of Europe and the Mediterranean. Her true passion was her 5 grandchildren.She loved being with them and watching them play sports and dance. She would spoil them with shopping trips and dinners out. All five adored her laughter and hugs.
Peggy had a wonderful group of people that she developed lifelong friendships with. She always supported them over the years, and in turn they were always there for her. As her health declined her friends stood by her side.
Survivors include her brother Tom, and her two children, James and Laura.
Due to the current pandemic, funeral services are limited to immediate family only. A celebration of life will be held in September. Friends and family will be notified once the details are determined.
